American Visitors

Pater Noster Academy is excited to welcome Tara Mock to our school. Tara Mock is a second year doctoral student in the African American and African Studies program at Michigan State University where she studies the impact of China's trade relationship with Africa on local business. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana; Tara worked in the oil and gas, reinsurance, and nonprofit sectors prior to pursuing her doctorate; experiences which have served her well in her current research. She has also been fortunate enough to spend a significant portion of her life in Africa (South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Senegal, Gambia, Ghana) and looks forward to experiencing the warmth and hospitality of the Nigerian people.
